Technical Information

The project currently uses a Phase One digital camera system, and Apple Mac Pro equipment:

Phase One 645AFD II body

P45+ Digital back

Mamiya 80mm, and 120mm macro lenses

Apple Mac Pro

The image quality is second to none, giving a full output of 39 million pixels. Each RAW image alone is around 45mb, which is then processed to around 60mb for use in the image collection.

The images are captured using a De Vere 504 C/F copy stand set up with 2 Multiblitz Magnolie 40 flash heads which is specially designed for this type of digitisation work.
